Aesthetic of the Everyday is my ongoing research project which I started for my master thesis at Aalto University, Finland. It is both an artistic expression and a theoretical inquiry. It stems from my personal experiences and aims to open viewers to a new sensibility on finding the aesthetical in the everyday, and in in the mundane experiences in life.
The work has been made in three instalments. Volume I, Volume II and Volume III. Vol. I is the theoretical text that was written for my master thesis, Volume II is a supplemental book to the former and it is comprised of images that served as examples and my personal research material for the matter. Volume II contains no text. Volume III was the presentation of my work and research in the form of an exhibition held in my own apartment in Espoo, Finland.
Volume I is available for download on this link.
