About the work:
The project and the same titled exhibition(s) Vsakdanja cona udobja (Everyday comfort zone), explores the theme of the nostalgic homelike feeling of the everyday scenery and daily rituals and habits. It derives its subtle aesthetic language from repetition and the connection to the places we inhabit on a daily basis. The project tends to create its visual language on the familiar or yet to become familiar. The project works as a new entity built upon three older projects: Corner shrine, Couple with dogs and Locations. All works have already leaned on the idea of the familiar as something to explore in the realm of art.
